Google describes this new feature as follows:
“Activate the password strength indicator when entering a password during registration and password change”.
Based on the description above, it is clear that the search giant intends to display the feature even when the user creates a new password for the account, as well as when changing the password and logging into an existing account.
Once fully developed, the feature will be rolled out on Windows, Mac, Linux, ChromeOS, Fuchsia, and Lagros platforms.
